ÅMA, Ångström Materials Academy, is a platform for collaboration between academic scientists, industrial companies, and the public sector in the field of materials sciences. Hosted by Uppsala University, ÅMA leads activities based on new perspectives, networking, and multidisciplinary groups, and provides excellent conditions for learning, technology development and innovation. ÅMA is located at one of the largest centres for materials research in Europe.

The Tandem Laboratory is a department of special character within the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Uppsala University. The laboratory is designated a national research infrastructure for world-leading materials analysis.

The workshop is free of charge, but advance registration is required.
